Abstract: : Using the HYSYS process simulator as an environment, a natural fractionation process has been simulated . The simulation is used to carry out a bottleneck analysis based on the distillation column only. The flow rate has been increased and the maximum flooding of each column evaluated .The column with the highest maximum flooding value is recognized as the bottleneck. The effect of flow rate increase prior to the bottleneck on process energy consumption as the main operation cost component... (Update)
