Abstract: An industrial-scale software process consists of a collection of subprocesses run by different people either simultaneously or at different times. This paper introduces a process decomposition and collaboration model to determine what the user and designer of such a process need from a Process-Centered Environment (PCE), and proposes extensions to a centralized rule-based PCE, Marvel 3.1, to address some of those needs. This approach has a number of potential benefits such as support for... (Update)
