Abstract: This document provides a technical framework for the enforcement of a security policy for the Federal Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), establishes basic operational procedures, and details policy constraints that guide its design and development. The Federal PKI supports end user authentication, data integrity, data confidentiality, and source non-repudiation. The Federal PKI is also responsible for recording its transactions to allow the verification of the validity of user transactions... (Update)
