Abstract: This paper describes a concurrent programming environment for the Intel's 486 processor family. The environment uses the processor's advanced features, like memory management, multitasking and protection, to supply the application level with a compact and secure execution environment. Regarding process management, the environment supports multitasking, multithreading and dynamic priority scheduling.
