Abstract: As the field of agent-based systems continues to expand rapidly, one of the most significant problems lies in being able to compare and evaluate the relative benefits and disadvantages of different systems. Indeed, there is almost no way to judge which system is most appropriate for which purpose. As a consequence, ad hoc solutions are often provided and much effort is spent in creating yet more agent frameworks. In part, this is due to the various different ways in which these systems...
