Basic Reference Model of Open Distributed Processing- Part 4:] Architectural Semantics
Abstract:
Note: This document provides an interpretation of the basic modelling concepts and the specification concepts of SC21 N6767. Input which updates this interpretation so that it is in line with the current draft of [Recommendation X.902: j ISO 10746-2] is requested. In many cases the interpretation of part 2 concepts is extremely terse. Member Bodies are requested to provide some discussion and illustration of these interpretations. When a part 2 definition is defined in terms of more primitive part 2 definitions, it often transpires that the part 4 interpretation of that definition is trivial (e.g. a repetition of the part 2 definition). In such cases the dependency on the interpretation of primitive definitions should be highlighted and possibly discussed. Editor's Note: Above text should be modified to cover formalisation of viewpoint languages of Part 3.
