Abstract: The gene expression process in nature evaluates the fitness of a DNA in a very distributed and decomposed fashion through the production of different proteins in di erent cells. Doing so requires a decomposed representation of the fitness function. Since such representation exposes the underlying decomposability of the evolutionary search space, it is quite important for the scalability of the search process. Distributed evaluation of the tness is possible only when its distributed... (Update)
