Abstract: Venus and CERS are two experimental C++ embedded rule languages comprising very different approaches to encapsulation. CERS embraces C++ semantics with little alteration; methods could be defined using collections of rules rather than procedural C++ code. In Venus, C++ procedural code and rule definitions are disjoint. Venus rules are organized into parameterized collections called modules. Modules may be nested by listing the name of a module and its actual arguments on the right-hand side of... (Update)
