Abstract:
The classical methods for model building are usually based on the parameters selection for fixed model form. In this paper, we use a method based on natural genetic evolution for a practical problem in engineering geologics. Several useful and interpretable models are obtained in some runs. It is efficient for the prediction and decision in searching the optimal model.
