Abstract:
I would like to thank my advisor Prof. Danny Dolev for creating the opportunity for this work, sending me to Cornell for the summer of 1996, and for supporting and believing in it all along. This work would never have reached its state of completeness without the guidance and diligence of my father. Through long weekends of intermittent work in our Avocado plantation and proofreading of the paper he made this work readable, not only to myself, but to others. Mark Hayden, the creator of the Ensemble system, helped with coding advice and support for changes I introduced to Ensemble. His efforts and openness to new ideas made Lansis/E work with all other parts of Ensemble. Fruitful conversations with friends in the lab provided insight and new ideas. There are always new ideas to explore! Finally, I'd like to thank my family: my grandparents Shimshon and Tova, my parents Bruria and Micky, and my brother and sister
