Abstract: : This report is one in a series dealing with the use of representation clauses and implementation-dependent features in Ada. The purpose of this report is to discuss detailed experimental procedures to assess compiler support. It is readily acknowledged that the domain of possible experimentation is large. To facilitate the experimentation, a methodology is proposed that relies on program generators and automated analysis tools. An example of the methodology is presented in some detail. 1.... (Update)
