Abstract: In collaborative planning dialogues, since the agents have different beliefs about the domain and about one another, it is inevitable that conflicts arise among them during the planning process. In order for a computer system to appear collaborative in such an environment, it must be capable of detecting the conflicts as soon as they arise and of resolving them in an efficient and effective manner.
