Abstract: We announce the first official Crypto-World Rankings in an unbiased attempt
to geographically identify the real nations of excellence in the field.
1 Motivation
In a world of increasing international co-operation, expanding communication networks
and blurring of national identities, we wish to whip off the "international research
community" veil and determine which country is the best at cryptology. Which
is the most cryptological nation on the planet? Is the United States the super-power?
