Visualizing Computer Architecture Simulations --- Graphical User Interface Support for Pearl (1996) [1 citations — 1 self]
Abstract:
With this thesis, my study at the University of Amsterdam has come to a conclusion. Many people made contributions in various ways which made it possible for me to finish my study. Showing the intermediate results at the Friday--afternoon Architecture club provided me with a lot of feedback. This feedback proved to be very valuable. The questions asked, especially by Toto van Inge, forced me to formulate the ideas behind the transformations on raw values and the different kinds of visuals in a more structured fashion. Without proper proofreading, this thesis wouldn't have become what it is now. Fortunately I found several people willing to read the preliminary versions, such as Jacco de Leeuw, Erik van Roode, Frank van der Linden, Jon Mountjoy and especially Andy Pimentel, my graduationmentor, who showed an undepletable patience every time I brought in new or corrected material. Furthermore, I would have been unable to finish my study without building
