Abstract: The last decade has seen the advent of what has been dubbed the `Information Age', an era characterized by easy accessibility to huge volumes of information and the increasing importance of computer-assisted collaborative work. We swim in a virtual ocean of data, both from the print media and electronic sources such as email and the Internet.
