Abstract: The laboratory for parallel computing - Parallab actively pursues the porting of significant industrial codes to parallel computing platforms. This work started already in 1985 with the acquisition of Europe's first 64 processor Intel hypercube. As of today, the laboratory has two MIMD machines, an Intel Paragon and a Parsytec GC/Power-Plus. As part of the Europort effort, four industrial codes are currently being ported by Parallab scientists. The paper will describe this effort and the... (Update)
